A filing from the U.S. Office of Government Ethics shows that former president Donald Trump has made anywhere from $100,001 to $1 million from sales of Trump-branded non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The filings were first reported by ethics watchdog Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW).

The most expensive purchase occurred when an individual bought a card featuring Trump with a rifle in his hand and wearing an orange hat for 0.697 ETH. Despite being a critic of the cryptocurrency sector, Trump launched a personal NFT collection at the end of 2022, with purchases offering a chance to meet him or have dinner with him. Trump was recently indicted on 34 charges, including business fraud over hush-money payments to ex-porn actress Stormy Daniels. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

The price of former US President Donald Trump's non-fungible token (NFT) collection, Trump Digital Trading Cards, has been decreasing since he was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury on around two dozen counts related to business fraud. On March 31, the floor price of the NFT collection stood at 0.599 Ethereum (ETH), dropping to 0.47 ETH as the indictment became publicly known. The NFT collection currently has 13,951 unique owners, lower than in late December 2022 when there were 15,075 owners. The collection debuted in December 2022 with a total of 45,000 NFTs, and the proceeds from the sales go straight to Trump, despite his past criticism of cryptocurrencies.
