Donald Trump NFT Sales on the Rise Following his Arrest

Interest in the NFT collection featuring Donald Trump has surged following his recent arrest, with over 60 tokens sold in the hours after his appearance in court. Digital art depicting Trump has seen increased popularity on NFT marketplace OpenSea, with most buyers spending roughly 0.5 ETH to acquire cryptographic images of the former President. The most expensive purchase occurred when an individual bought a card featuring Trump with a rifle in his hand and wearing an orange hat for 0.697 ETH. Despite being a critic of the cryptocurrency sector, Trump launched a personal NFT collection at the end of 2022, with purchases offering a chance to meet him or have dinner with him. Trump was recently indicted on 34 charges, including business fraud over hush-money payments to ex-porn actress Stormy Daniels. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
