VeChain and the Federazione Italiana Tennis e Padel (FITP) have partnered to create a unique trophy for the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). The winners of the WTA and ATP tours were recently awarded the first-ever phygital trophy, which is a physical trophy embedded with an NFC chip and an assigned NFT.

This technology provides authentication and anti-fraud capabilities, enriches the customer journey, and creates new forms of engagement for both brands and consumers. VeChain is also working with other partners to introduce real-world blockchain applications and build a digital ecosystem for sustainability and digital transformation.
