Bitstamp denies Glassnode’s claim that it lost 38% of its Bitcoin reserves

According to a post by Bitstamp on the X platform, Glassnode mistakenly stated that Bitstamp lost 38% of its Bitcoin reserves in a data set, when in fact the net outflow was only 1%. Previously, on November 22nd, cryptocurrency exchange Bitcoin outflows reached $600 million, mainly from two platforms, Binance and Bitstamp. After an agreement was signed between the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and Binance, Binance experienced an outflow of about 8,000 Bitcoins, equivalent to nearly $288 million. Bitstamp experienced another significant drop, losing approximately 16,500 Bitcoins, with 24,000 BTC remaining, accounting for 38% of the outflow. (Cryptoslate)
