A Superior Onboarding Experience: Overtime Markets Integrates Particle Network’s Wallet Abstraction

Overtime Markets is a decentralized, permissionless sports market on the Arbitrum, Base and Optimism L2s. It’s developed on top of the Thales protocol, a permissionless, order book-based peer-to-peer Positional Markets platform powered by Chainlink price feeds.

Making Ether A Better Money

In its current form, Ether (ETH) is not a good form of money. This is due to one critical limitation: its value is highly unstable. However, ETH can become stable by adjusting the rewards to validators (and thus the supply of ETH) to changes in demand for ETH. We can target a 0% inflation rate while ensuring validators are paid sufficiently to ensure network security. This new monetary policy can be called Stable Ether Monetary Policy (SEMP). With SEMP, ETH holders would have a great currency, and ETH validators would have exposure to the adoption of ETH.

State of TRON Q1 2024

TRON (TRX) is a public open-sourced blockchain network using a Delegated-Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) mechanism. It utilizes an election mechanism that determines who maintains the network. All TRX stakers vote onchain on which candidates they want to become Super Representatives. In each epoch, the top 27 most voted-for candidates become Super Representatives within the active set and take turns producing blocks. An election occurs every six hours.

Socket - First Chain Abstraction Protocol

Over the last few years, the Ethereum ecosystem has made tremendous strides in advancing the modular roadmap, a strategic plan aimed at enhancing scalability and efficiency through specialization and layering within the blockchain network. This has led to the development of an increasing number of chains, each specialized for distinct use cases. The cost of spinning up a new rollup has decreased significantly, blobs and data availability have made settling transactions even cheaper, and we now have L3s on top of L2s. It’s only a matter of time before we get to a world of 10,000 rollups and chains.

Reth’s path to 1 gigagas per second, and beyond

We started building Reth in 2022 to provide resilience to Ethereum L1, and solve execution layer scaling on Layer 2. Today we’re excited to share Reth’s path towards 1 gigagas per second in L2 in 2024, and our longer-term roadmap for going beyond that. We invite the ecosystem to collaborate with us as we push the frontier of performance and rigorous benchmarking in crypto.

The Future of Ethereum: Use Cases (Part 1)

In our 4-part series named “The Value of Ether”, we have discussed in detail the framework in which we think it is most appropriate to link value accrual to ETH token holders with the underlying mechanics that operate the Ethereum blockchain. More specifically, we have laid out a case on how increased usage of the network has an impact on supply dynamics and can therefore have a knock-on effect on the value of the Ether token.
