Find Satoshi Lab Has Committed To Lead the Strategic Seed Round of Versa Wallet

Cointime Official

Today we are super thrilled to announce that Find Satoshi Lab has committed to lead the strategic seed round of Versa wallet along with Folius Ventures and a few strategic angels. This marks our first strategic investment from the GMT Ecosystem Fund.

Versa wallet is a one-stop UX-simplified smart contract wallet, with which users can easily access crypto wallets with keyless and social logins, conduct gas management and on-chain account recovery, set up automatic spendings, automate investment strategies, and more.

As we continue to march into the mass adoption phase of Web3 applications, the high entry barriers of the non-custodial wallets becomes a big hurdle for people to even get to the point to enjoy the convenience that the blockchain technology brings.

Our mission within the FSL ecosystem is to create user-friendly applications and enjoyable products (partially) powered by blockchains, all inter-connected through our governance token, GMT.

However, this ecosystem won’t ever truly become a “Super-app” with a huge network effect, if users can’t log in and hop around the products with a universal single-sign-on; and, for security purposes, this single-sign-on has to be non-custodial.

We all know the solution to this challenge is a smart contract wallet, using which users don’t have to worry about anything related to seed phrase or gas management. Users should be able to easily log in their wallets with their socials and regain access with social recovery.

We spent the past few months searching for a best solution, and we’re convinced that Versa wallet is this solution for us.This is why we invested into Versa. Upon integration, our users should expect a seamless login experience across the products in the FSL ecosystem.

Versa wallet is currently in its closed Beta phase. Our engineers have started working with the Versa team on the integration process. We will share more with everyone once the product is ready to go live.Thank you all for your continuous support for the FSL ecosystem.

  • SlowMist: Beware of watering hole attacks launched by malicious attackers using WordPress plugin vulnerabilities

SlowMist Security has issued a warning that attackers have recently been exploiting vulnerabilities in WordPress plugins to inject malicious JS code into normal websites and launch watering hole attacks. These attacks involve popping up malicious windows when users visit the site, deceiving them into executing malicious code or performing Web3 wallet signatures, thereby stealing their assets. It is recommended that sites using WordPress plugins check for vulnerabilities, update plugins in a timely manner, and avoid being attacked. When visiting any website, users should carefully identify the downloaded programs and Web3 signature content to avoid downloading malicious programs or having their assets stolen due to malicious signatures.

  • Making Ether A Better Money

In its current form, Ether (ETH) is not a good form of money. This is due to one critical limitation: its value is highly unstable. However, ETH can become stable by adjusting the rewards to validators (and thus the supply of ETH) to changes in demand for ETH. We can target a 0% inflation rate while ensuring validators are paid sufficiently to ensure network security. This new monetary policy can be called Stable Ether Monetary Policy (SEMP). With SEMP, ETH holders would have a great currency, and ETH validators would have exposure to the adoption of ETH.
