Death in Crypto: 3 Top Crypto Millionares Died Just Weeks Apart

Cointime Official

by Marcel Boer

With Vyacheslav Taran, Tiantian Kullander and Nikolai Mushegian three crypto millionares died in recent weeks.

Some in the space have remarked that it’s a coincidence, and perhaps it is. But it’s also a reminder that while we often think of the early adopters of a new technology as being young and invincible, they’re just as susceptible to the ravages of time as the rest of us.

So while we mourn the loss of these three pioneers, let’s also remember that they lived lives that most of us can only dream of. They saw the potential of a new technology and embraced it wholeheartedly. And in doing so, they made the world a little bit better for the rest of us.

Russian entrepreneur Vyacheslav Taran

Vyacheslav Taran, a Russian entrepreneur and co-founder of the trading platform Libertex, died in a helicopter crash on Sunday. He was 55 years old.

Taran was born in Moscow and studied economics at the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics. After graduating, he started his career in the banking sector before co-founding Libertex in 1997.

Libertex is a trading platform that allows users to trade a variety of financial instruments, including stocks, bonds, and cryptocurrencies. The platform has over 2 million active users and is available in over 120 countries.

Crypto Guru Tiantian Kullander

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tiantian Kullander, co-founder of Amber Group and one of the true pioneers in the cryptocurrency space. Tiantian passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 35.

Tiantian was a brilliant mind and a true visionary. He was passionate about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, and he was one of the first to see the potential of these new technologies. Tiantian was a true leader in the Amber Group, and he will be deeply missed by all of us.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Tiantian’s family and friends during this difficult time.

Crypto-millionaire Nikolai Mushegian

Nikolai Mushegian, a crypto-millionaire and the founder of MakerDAO, died by drowning. He was 37 years old.

Mushegian was a gifted programmer and entrepreneur. He founded MakerDAO, a decentralized organization that issues the Dai stablecoin, in 2015. Under his leadership, MakerDAO grew to become one of the most successful crypto startups, with a valuation of over $1 billion.

Mushegian’s death is a tragic loss for the crypto community. He was a brilliant mind and a passionate advocate for decentralized technologies. He will be deeply missed.
