Metaverse gaming platform The Sandbox has released its Q1 2023 updates for its LAND owners, which includes over 23,500 members. The updates will focus on self-publish, upgrading to Game Maker 0.8, minting of assets, staking tokens for weekly rewards, bonus content for creators, and regular communication.

Self-publish is expected to go live by the third quarter, allowing creators to launch their experiences directly on the map. LAND owners can mint their assets as non-fungible tokens and sell them by the end of the fourth quarter, with weekly rewards available for owners who stake their SAND tokens.

The April Festival offers exclusive rewards for LAND owners and AVATAR holders, with regular updates promised by The Sandbox. The platform has over 115,850 LANDs minted, and the community can hire certified builders to build their own experiences.
