Terraform Labs Kwon to Get Montenegro Court Hearing May 11 on Passport Forgery Charges

Kwon Do-hyeong, who is being investigated in several countries for alleged fraud related to the collapse of the Terraform Labs cryptocurrency project, is due to appear in a Montenegro court on 11 May on charges of allegedly attempting to travel using a false passport. Kwon and Terraform Labs CFO Han Chang-joon were arrested in Montenegro on 23 March, and both have been detained in the country since. Kwon is wanted in the US and South Korea on charges of fraud and several other charges related to the collapse of the Singapore-based $40bn Terra-Luna stablecoin and cryptocurrency project in May 2021. Kwon has denied all the charges against him. (forkast)
