June 14 (Cointime) - Strike, a digital payments company, is launching its Lightning Network-based cross-border payments service in Mexico, the largest market for remittances from the U.S. The service, called Send Globally, will be available from June 14 and offers cheaper and faster transactions than the base network. The service allows U.S. dollars to be received as pesos in the recipient's bank account. Strike recently moved custody operations in-house and established a headquarters for its global arm in El Salvador, expanding to over 65 countries.
