While players from Europe and Asia will have unrestricted access, US players will not be able to cash out their winnings.

Shrapnel's Head of Economy, Francis Brankin, hopes this will be a temporary measure and that US users will eventually be able to bridge their earnings to their bank accounts. The game allows players to build open economies and own intellectual property rights over in-game assets, which is why the company chose to use blockchain technology.
