Shiba Inu's BONE Token Surges by 43% in a Week Amid Anticipation for Shibarium Launch

The governance token of Shiba Inu, BONE, has experienced a significant surge in price, with a weekly rise of over 40% and a 0.5% increase in the past 24 hours, reaching $1.20. This is notable as BONE has managed to remain bullish despite the recent market sell-off.

The rise in price can be attributed to the announcement by Shitoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, about the potential launch date of Shibarium, a highly anticipated Layer-2 blockchain that will power the Shiba Inu ecosystem.

BONE's unique role in relation to Shibarium gas fees makes it a vital token within the ecosystem, and its price is expected to continue to rise with more developments expected to be deployed on Shibarium.
