In order to compete with artificial intelligence ChatGPT, Microsoft has introduced a “new” version of the Bing search engine and the Edge web browser. The news comes a day after Google unveiled Bard, its own “experimental conversational AI service” that uses Language Model for Dialogue Applications (LaMDA). It marked the beginning of an AI battle between two tech titans. Microsoft refers to the updated Bing and Edge as the user’s web-based artificial intelligence copilot. However, they are rumoured to provide improved search, more detailed responses, and the ability to produce content. (coingape)
