Mayhem Studios Raises $20 Million in Series A Round Led by Sequoia Capital for AAA Mobile Games Development

Mayhem Studios, the mobile game development unit of Mobile Premier League (MPL), has raised $20 million in a Series A round led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from Steadview Capital, Truecaller, and others. The funds will be used to develop new gaming titles in India and ramp up the company's capabilities.

Mayhem Studios was launched last year to develop AAA mobile games and competes with players such as Dream Game Studios and Nazara Technologies. The studio is a subsidiary of MPL, which offers fantasy sports and real money games on its platform. The fundraising comes after the Indian government announced regulations for online gaming that legitimize various forms of online gaming.

DePIN project Natix has announced the completion of a $4.6 million financing round, led by Borderless Capital and Tioga Capital, with participation from Laser Digital, Big Brain Holdings, Escape Velocity, IoTeX, WAGMI Ventures, Moonrock Capital, under Nomura Securities (Nomura), as well as a group of angel investors.
