Friend.tech has launched a new feature that allows users to manage and modify their personal account login method. This is in response to the alarming increase in SIM swap attacks, which allow malicious hackers to access sensitive user information. In an official statement, Friend.tech stated that the feature addresses user inquiries about the lack of two-factor authentication password functionality. Friend.tech also stated that the current implementation of this feature may inadvertently lock users out of their own accounts. To address this, the platform is actively collaborating with third-party privacy feature implementation provider Privy. Privy is working to make the necessary updates, and once they are completed, we will seamlessly integrate this feature.
