BlackRock submits revised Bitcoin ETF application documents, adds anti-money laundering compliance language and PwC audit report

Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart wrote on X platform that BlackRock has submitted the second revised S-1 document (prospectus) for its Bitcoin spot ETF (iShares Bitcoin Trust) to the US SEC. Bitwise had also submitted a second revised S-1 document earlier.

James Seyffart stated that the SEC had apparently issued similar or very similar instructions to multiple issuers. The SEC and these issuers are working to resolve the issues. These documents are likely the result of multiple conversations and a lot of work between the two parties.

It is reported that BlackRock has added content in the latest submission regarding measures the trustee will take to monitor abnormal price changes, as well as adding language related to anti-money laundering compliance and including an audit report from PwC. (The Block)

Earlier news, Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart wrote on X platform that Bitwise had submitted a second revised S-1 document (prospectus) for a Bitcoin spot ETF application to the US SEC, indicating that the dialogue between the SEC and potential issuers is still ongoing.
