Base, an Ethereum layer 2 scaling solution supported by Coinbase, announced on its official blog that the Web3 social media platform Farcaster framework has started using Base chain. Base stated that Farcaster's Frames are embedded in the Warpcast social mini program. The framework helps make the on-chain internet easier by directly incorporating on-chain applications into social posts. It is also adopted outside of Warpcast, and XMTP announced its support for the framework in its messaging platform. Base also stated that since the launch of Farcaster Frames, multiple rounds of funding have been provided for Based Frames operations.
