Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2024 Set to Take Place 6-9 April, 2024

Dr. Feng Xiao, Chairman of Wanxiang Blockchain and HashKey Group announced on 3 November at Hong Kong Fintech Week the second edition of Hong Kong Web3 Festival, which will be taking place from 6-9 April, 2024. Following the overwhelming success of its record-breaking 2023 event, HK Web3 Festival 2024 will feature an amazing lineup of industry guests from around the globe.

The inaugural Web3 Festival, co-hosted by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs and HashKey Group saw over 50,000 attendees in total, 300 speakers globally, 100 exhibitors and nearly 200 side events. It’s widely acknowledged as the breaking milestone for Hong Kong’s Web3 industry.

Hong Kong has been actively involved in Web3 and expanding its Web3 aspirations over the recent years, symbolized by a series of ambitious attempts like the statement of its policy on virtual assets, Web3 task force, and more.

    According to defillama data, as of May 18, 2024, the total value locked (TVL) in DeFi has once again surpassed $95 billion.
