Caroline Ellison, former CEO of hedge fund Alameda Research, is likely to be the next witness to testify in the SBF trial, replacing former FTX executive Gary Wang.After the trial ended on Friday morning, the US Department of Justice said that Wang's testimony would end on Tuesday, and prosecutors expect Ellison to be the next witness. FTX Accuses SBF Mother Barbara Fried of Serving as Key Adviser for SBF Political Campaign Contributions

According to CNBC, FTX accused Barbara Fried, the mother of SBF, of being a key advisor for SBF and its allies' political campaign donations and a "key figure" in SBF's political donation strategy, encouraging SBF and those closely related to him to "evade federal campaign finance disclosure rules by participating in straw donations (grassroots donations) or other means to conceal FTX as the source of donations."

SBF Allowed Access to Laptop and Three Hard Drives Seven Days a Week

SBF's defense team had previously argued that SBF "needed" to be released to prepare for his defense and informed Judge Lewis Kaplan, who is responsible for the case, that poor internet speed and battery life limited SBF's ability to prepare for the criminal trial next month.
