As per recent speculation, Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta has decided to step down from his position personally. According to a confidential source, the decision “will not harm metaverse,” which is Mark’s multi-billion dollar project. This new endeavor dragged Meta downwards to a significant profit decline earlier this year.

We’ve shifted more of our resources onto a smaller number of high priority growth areas — like our AI discovery engine, our ads and business platforms, and our long-term vision for the metaverse.

Zuckerberg stressed on the company’s need for becoming capital efficient. He added that the company shifted more resources into high priority growth areas, one of which is the Metaverse.
