The hacker who stole over $130 million in assets from the DeFi project BXH on October 30, 2021, transferred 9,491 ETH (worth $31.38 million) through Tornado Cash five hours ago, as monitored by blockchain analyst Yu Jin. The hacker collected a total of 9,491 ETH through three addresses and deposited all of these ETH into Tornado Cash through the 0xda9...ad3 address.

According to Beosin KYT Anti-Money Laundering Analysis Platform, a blockchain security audit company, as reported by Jinse Finance, the amount of losses from various security incidents increased significantly in February 2024 compared to January. In February 2024, there were more than 19 typical security incidents, resulting in a total loss of $422 million due to hacker attacks, phishing scams, and Rug Pulls, an increase of approximately 102% from January. Among them, the amount of attack incidents was about $347 million, an increase of approximately 110%; phishing and fraud incidents were about $16.08 million, a decrease of approximately 52%; and Rug Pull incidents were about $59.38 million, an increase of approximately 440%. The largest attack incident in February was the attack on the encrypted gaming platform PlayDapp due to private key leakage, resulting in a loss of $290 million, which is also the highest security incident loss this year. Other incidents with losses exceeding tens of millions of dollars include: the centralized exchange FixedFloat was attacked, resulting in a loss of $26.1 million; and Axie Infinity co-founder Jihoz.ron's personal address suffered a loss of approximately $10 million due to private key leakage. In addition, the Hong Kong exchange Bitforex suspected a Rug Pull, with an abnormal outflow of $56.5 million from its hot wallet.

Lookonchain has monitored that hackers have attacked two wallets of Jihoz.ron and stolen assets worth $10.46 million, including: 3.2 million RON ($9.53 million), 282.32 WETH ($834,000), 160,000 PIXEL ($87,000), 2.76 million SLP ($10,000), 2,042 USDC and 164 AXS ($1,272). All assets were converted to 3,249 ETH ($9.6 million) and deposited into Tornado Cash.

Chain Detective ZachXBT stated in the Telegram group that from February 19th to 20th, a new batch of more than 22 LastPass hackers caused losses of over 6.2 million US dollars to victims. The stolen funds on the EVM chain were quickly exchanged and bridged to Bitcoin. Blockchain security company Hacken recently revealed the connection between a hack against Ripple co-founder and chairman Chris Larsen's personal wallet and XRP authorized wallets. The hack occurred on January 31st and caused Larsen to lose 213 million XRP, worth $112.5 million. Hacken revealed that the hack involved two core wallets related to XRP authorized wallets. Due to the complexity of the incident, the investigation initially focused on a wallet with the address starting with "rJNLz3A1", which was identified as the compromised XRP wallet. Through analysis of incoming and outgoing transactions, Hacken's research indicates that most of the stolen funds were transferred to different exchange addresses, including one from Kraken, which was reportedly used to transfer funds. Specifically, a wallet address starting with "rU1bPM4" had a significant amount of transactions with Larsen and was associated with the wallet used by the hacker. This account has a long-standing relationship with XRP and, prior to the incident, sent 64.6 million XRP to Larsen and participated in a transaction with Kraken's deposit address, reportedly used to transfer funds from the attack. Although Hacken did not reach the conclusion that the attack was carried out by insiders, the connection between the wallets involved and XRP authorized wallets is unusual. <br>

According to CertiK's monitoring, ZBexchange hackers have deposited 1313 ETH into Tornado Cash in the past few hours. In the past 3 days, a total of 2023.1 ETH (about $4.9 million) has been deposited into Tornado Cash.
