Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has announced that it will not support the upcoming token airdrop for Gala Games' V2 token. The decision comes amid concerns about the legality of the airdrop and the potential risks associated with supporting it.

Huobi and Gala Games have announced plans to distribute up to $50 million worth of cryptocurrencies and software licenses to GALA token holders who lost money in a scheme involving the latter's utility token last fall.

On Mar. 20, GameFi project Gala Games announced it had recently filed a lawsuit against pNetwork, the cross-chain interoperability bridge used by Gala on the BNB Smart Chain. Last November, Gala Games was exploited after an unauthorized wallet address minted over $2 billion in GALA and dumped the tokens on PancakeSwap, draining $4.5 million from the liquidity pool and causing a substantial plunge in GALA's token price.
