DeFi asset management protocol Zapper launches on-chain social application Chainchat

DeFi asset management protocol Zapper has announced the launch of its on-chain social app, Chainchat. Users must purchase "shares" of the corresponding channel to join the group chat. To leave a channel, users must sell all shares held in that channel, but they can buy and sell multiple shares. Each member in the channel has the right to share in the chat, and fees are charged for stock transactions. Members can request fees based on their shareholding proportion.

Micapass completes €240,000 in financing

Micapass, a provider of compliance solutions for DeFi and Web3, has completed a financing round of 240,000 euros, with blockchain research and development company "SUPER HOW?" and startup accelerator Firstpick participating. Micapass mainly provides anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) compliance services for DeFi protocols and Web3 users to prevent illegal cryptocurrency activities. The new funds will be used to accelerate the development of AML compliance tools that integrate artificial intelligence technology.

Lens Will Be Migrated to the V2 Mainnet on October 30, and the V1 API Will Be Deactivated on January 30, 2024

October 24th, decentralized social protocol Lens Protocol announced that it will migrate to the Lens V2 mainnet on October 30th. The V2 upgrade will increase Lens' speed by at least 2 times, while providing a more scalable system. Lens API V1 will stop writing and switch to read-only mode during the upgrade, and will stop service after January 30th, 2024.

Yearn Finance Modifies Token Economics and Adds VE Mechanism

Yearn Finance has modified its token economics by adding a VE mechanism. Stakeholders can now lock their tokens for up to 4 years to convert them into non-transferable veYFI tokens and earn YFI rewards, which are distributed in the form of dYFI and can be used to purchase YFI tokens at a discounted price. The longer the lock-up period, the higher the returns, but users may face up to a 75% penalty for withdrawing their position before the lock-up period ends.
