Data transparency has been a focal point for the crypto industry, but the FTX fiasco has shown that centralized exchanges (CEX) are not transparent enough. So far, crypto analytics firms are apparently not capable of tracking transactions to prevent collapses like FTX.

A study by Blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis revealed that the amount of losses investors incurred due to the bankrupt crypto exchange FTX’s saga is far less than those recorded due to similar events earlier this year.

The blowup of FTX and resulting market tumult has many in cryptocurrency citing the importance of a core, original tenet of blockchain technology: transparency.
