Bitfinex will delist Avalanche/Bitcoin and other three perpetual contracts

Bitfinex announced that it will delist three perpetual swap contracts, Avalanche/Bitcoin (AVAXF0/BTCF0), Polkadot/Bitcoin (DOTF0/BTCF0), and Worldcoin (WLDF0/USTF0), on April 1, 2024. Starting from 1:30 PM UTC on December 21, 2023, users will only be able to reduce their open positions in AVAXF0/BTCF0, DOTF0/BTCF0, and WLDF0/USTF0. The spot market for AVAX/BTC and DOT/BTC will continue to trade on Bitfinex.

According to Whale Alert, a blockchain data tracking service, at 00:00 Beijing time, 891 BTC ($33,725,274) was transferred from Kraken to Bitfinex.

Tether and Bitfinex drop opposition to New York Freedom of Information Act request

Tether and Bitfinex have agreed to give up their opposition to the New York Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) request made by a group of journalists, including ZekeFaux of Bloomberg Businessweek.
