Evan is a senior product leader with a long track record of leading teams to go from idea to launch on large, impactful technology products and programs across several verticals. This has often been through applying ML to things like aquaculture, wildlife conservation, and photography. He leads the Moonshots program on the Brain team in Google Research, which rapidly evaluates and advances applications of deep learning (AI). He joined Google Maps in 2011, X in 2014 (where he founded Tidal), and then left to work on conservation technology at Oceankind (philanthropic org founded by Lucy Page) and Conservation International.
