April 23 (Cointime) - Fantom founder, Andre Cronje, revealed on Twitter that his team is working on a crypto-friendly banking infrastructure project, with a closed beta already available and plans to open to the public by the end of this year.

This announcement comes in response to a tweet by Michael Egorov, who complained that Revolut was not crypto-friendly and had closed his personal and business accounts once they learned that the source of his funds was crypto. Cronje responded:

"Need a card, or just payments infra? If the latter, I can add you to our closed beta. If card, that will be available by end of 2023, crypto friendly bank available to public within this year."

However, the product is only available outside of  U.S. "Legally we can, but given the USA's stance, we probably won't accept US citizens." said Cronje.
