WWDC 2023: what to expect at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference

Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is expected to feature the debut of Apple's mixed reality headset, which will offer both virtual and augmented reality experiences. The event will also likely include updates for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and more. Additionally, there may be a new 15-inch MacBook Air with an M2 chip and a mental health-focused journaling iPhone app. Apple may also preview changes to comply with the European Union’s Digital Markets Act (DMA), such as allowing sideloading and third-party app stores on iPhones and iPads. There are also rumors about upcoming Macs and Apple's next move in AI technology.

This indicates that the criminals tried to launder their illegal proceeds by taking advantage of the anonymity of virtual currencies. Currently, Customs has arrested three key members of the criminal group, seized the assets of the involved companies, and confiscated a large number of criminal tools, including mobile phones, company seals, and bank cards. The case is still under further investigation, and more suspects may be arrested. This case once again sounds the alarm, reminding the virtual currency industry to increase vigilance and strictly comply with anti-money laundering regulations.

The main reason may be that the demand for Solana has increased at such a fast pace that within a few days, the problem went from "sufficient but needs improvement" to "insufficient." Austin Federa summarized that this issue is simply technical debt, a network stack that will almost certainly need to be completely rewritten later this year, while balancing important maintenance/improvement work.
