US House Financial Services Committee Sets Hearing on Cryptocurrency Future and Regulatory Clarity

The United States House of Representatives Financial Services Committee has scheduled a hearing on cryptocurrency for June 13th, titled "The Future of Digital Assets: Providing Clarity for the Digital Asset Ecosystem." The committee aims to address regulatory frameworks, investor protection, market stability, and innovation in the evolving world of digital assets.

The hearing will be live-streamed on the committee's official website. Republican lawmakers have also released a draft bill to establish a clearer regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies and exchanges, proposing a division of authority between the SEC and CFTC.
