Matt Damon has revealed that he appeared in Crypto.com's "Fortune Favors the Brave" advertisement to raise money for his clean water initiative, Water.org, which was under dire financial circumstances. The Hollywood star explained that he once gave his whole salary to Water.org because it was in a dire financial position. Crypto.com heard about this and gave $1 million to Water.org on their own, he said. The ad, which was released in October 2021, received widespread criticism following a bad year for crypto in 2022 and Damon has since been the butt of numerous jokes. (Cointelegraph)
