Robert Beauchamp is Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and Chief Executive Officer of BMC Software, the recognized leader in IT management software. After joining the company in 1988 as a Sales Executive, Bob rose rapidly through the BMC ranks. During his tenure, Bob has led key business functions including research and development, strategic marketing and corporate development. Named Chief Executive Officer in 2001, Bob led BMC’s highly successful transformation from a mainframe tools vendor to the company that helps IT transform digital enterprises for the ultimate competitive business advantage.

Bob currently serves on the boards of Raytheon Company and Baylor University. Previously, Bob has also served on the boards of numerous non-profit, industry and civic organizations.

Bob holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in Management from Houston Baptist University.
