Hebei Province's Baoding City Promotes Digital RMB Payments in Finance Sector

Baoding City's Finance Bureau in Hebei Province has actively promoted the use of digital RMB in the financial sector, in accordance with the requirements of the "Implementation Plan for Digital RMB Pilot Work" at the provincial and municipal levels.

Based on thorough research in Changshu City, Jiangsu Province, the Finance Bureau, in collaboration with the Baoding branch of Construction Bank, successfully launched digital RMB salary payments for budgetary units in late May, becoming the first in the province to do so.

Digital RMB is a digital form of legal tender issued by the People's Bank of China, with advantages such as traceability, high security, convenient payments, and independence from networks. After receiving their digital RMB salaries, the staff of the Baoding Finance Bureau were given professional training and guidance on its usage in various scenarios such as shopping and dining.

Following the principle of "pilot first, then promotion," the Finance Bureau will gradually expand the scope and areas of digital RMB payments, accelerate the expansion of digital RMB business scenarios, and contribute to the high-quality development of digital RMB business in the city.

The SEC claims that Sun Yuchen spent more than 380 days in the US from 2017 to 2019, with travel destinations including New York, Boston, and San Francisco. Sun Yuchen argues that the token sales were conducted entirely overseas, avoiding the US market, and therefore the SEC has no jurisdiction over him and the Tron Foundation, which is headquartered in Singapore.
