Bitget, a crypto exchange, has obtained a virtual asset service provider (VASP) license in Poland, allowing it to legally operate in the country. This follows the exchange's recent registration as a VASP in Lithuania. Bitget's managing director, Gracy Chen, stated that the company understands the importance of regulation for mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies. The exchange has also experienced significant growth, with its user protection fund gaining $80 million in book value and its staff increasing from 1,000 to 1,300. Poland is becoming an increasingly popular destination for crypto firms, with Binance also registering as a VASP in the country.
