Over 200 influential individuals from various fields including cryptocurrency, politics, academia, and pharmaceuticals have returned home after spending over two months at Zuzalu, an experimental "pop-up city community" created by Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.
Attendees, known as "Zuzalans," left their lives and identities behind to become the first citizens of a new civilization in Lustica Bay, Montenegro. The conference focused on topics such as blockchain networks, cryptocurrency, AI, human longevity, and the concept of a "network state." Some attendees formed a group focused on achieving immortality, which has garnered attention on the Balkan campus, but concerns about security and targeted viruses remain regarding the possibility of creating a nation state exclusively for immortals.
