According to Decenter reports, Com2Verse, a subsidiary of South Korean game developer Com2uS, announced that it has obtained 4 billion won from Hana Financial Group, Kyobo Bunko (a large Korean chain bookstore), and Kyoyuan Group. Investment, a total of 12 billion won (about 9.5 million US dollars).
So far, Com2Verse raised an initial capital of 15 billion won (approximately US$11.85 million) from Com2uS, WYSIWYG Studios, etc. at the time of its establishment, and obtained an additional 16 billion won (approximately US$12.64 million) by attracting external investment.
Through this strategic investment, Com2Verse will conduct technical exchanges with Hana Financial Group on metaverse bank and metaverse financial business, provide Kyobo Bunko with a metaverse bookstore and writer community, and cooperate with Kyoyuan Group on metaverse education, culture, etc. Service cooperation, and at the same time promote the establishment of a metaverse office by multiple partner companies.
