Developers have announced that BNB Chain, a blockchain network, will undergo a network upgrade at block height 29,020,050 on June 11 at 21:30 UTC. The upgrade, called the Luban hard fork, incorporates three different Binance Smart Chain Evolution Proposals (BEPs) that aim to make the network faster and more secure for users. The BEPs include a "Fast Finality" mechanism to reduce the possibility of chain reorganization by bad actors, a "Cross Chain Relayer Management" to mitigate potential security issues in the BSC Bridge, and a "CometBFT Light Block Validation" system to enable the transfer of data between different blockchains. These upgrades could contribute to the value proposition of the bnb token (BNB) in the future.
