BitKeep Swap Now Supports Solana

Multi-chain wallet BitKeep has announced that its swap feature, BitKeep Swap, now supports token swaps on the Solana chain. Via seamless integration with Raydium, a decentralized exchange protocol on Solana, BitKeep Swap provides users with a fast and cost-effective trading experience on the Solana network. Additionally, users can also access K-line chart queries for comprehensive market analytics and information.

Previously, BitKeep established a cross-chain swap channel for Solana through its strategic partnership with cross-chain bridge SWFT. As a result of this collaboration, BitKeep users can now enjoy the convenience of procuring price quotes and trading tokens between Solana and other prominent chains such as Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Arbitrum.

BitKeep Swap supports over 20 public chains and an impressive array of 250,000 tokens, and has successfully facilitated cross-chain swaps across 17 public chains. With the introduction of BitKeep's innovative "Instant Gas" service, users can engage in cross-chain transactions without the need to hold native gas tokens specific to each chain. This breakthrough significantly reduces the barriers to entry for cross-chain trading, and also enhances user accessibility and experience.

  • Solana Foundation Strategy Director: On-chain congestion stems from a known bottleneck in the QUIC protocol implementation

Austin Federa, the strategic director of the Solana Foundation, outlined the recent congestion issues on the Solana chain on the X platform. He stated that these issues stem from the implementation of the QUIC protocol and can be attributed to a known bottleneck issue. The solution is already on the roadmap. The main reason may be that the demand for Solana has increased at such a fast pace that within a few days, the problem went from "sufficient but needs improvement" to "insufficient." Austin Federa summarized that this issue is simply technical debt, a network stack that will almost certainly need to be completely rewritten later this year, while balancing important maintenance/improvement work.
