Binance CEO expresses relief as SEC dispute is resolved

June 18 (Cointime) - Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao expressed relief as the company's dispute with the SEC has been resolved, allowing him to focus on the future.

The SEC's scrutiny had created a tense period for the company, but the mutually agreed-upon resolution will enable Binance to progress unhindered. The US District Court for the District of Columbia has approved the "Proposed Stipulation and Consent Order" between Binance, Binance.US, and the SEC. The agreement requires Binance to repatriate all fiat currency and cryptocurrency assets associated with Binance.US and imposes restrictions on Binance Global officials.
